Ice cream sundae - the very words conjur up a smile. Ice cream is a food that has been synonomous with fun for as long as I can remember and the ice cream sundae that I have the greatest fondness for is the Knickerbocker Glory (photo left). The Knickerbocker Glory was my dear. late father's favorite ice cream treat - I called him the Knickerbocker Glory Champion :) For those of you who have never enjoyed a Knickerbocker Glory, it is a fabulous ice cream sundae with a tradition going back to the 1930s.
